Preventive medicine which encompasses health promotion and disease prevention.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Started with HOlistic Health Center in Santa Rosa California in 1979 to 1980. A group of practitioners interested in WEllness promotion. At that time, it included an Acupuncturist, Andy Soo-Hoo, Biofeedback therapist, Wellness nurse and developmental optometrist, Ray Gottleib.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We give our patients time and attention and answer all their questions. We work with habit changes, nutritional therapies and acupuncture for pain control.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Only one location at 1084 Cass Street in Monterey.
